There is a very short distance between the 40 mile/ hour and 55 mile / hour signs and if you are speeding up after the 40 mile /hour sign to meet the 55 mile / hour speed you will be speeding. The distance between the two signs is only about 150 yards.
From Washington Blvd to the 40 mile / hour sign is about 100 yards. Before this I assume is 30 miles / hour.
The police will sit at about the 55 mile / hour sign and if are picking up speed to meet the 55 mile / hour before the sign you will be ticketed.

I’ve seen officers waiting in the shade behind the mortuary. Hard to spot, but they have a perfect radar shot, especially northbound traffic.

Speeds in North Ogden are all set at either 25 MPH in residential neighborhoods, and 30, yes only 30 MPH for the main roads that get you through. Like they say, 30 means 30. There are a lot of hills in North Ogden, and some of them are rather steep. Best start burning out your brakes because they will ticket you everywhere if you go over 30. Natural feel for the roads are 35-40 MPH and it is easy to let your car safely go the higher speeds. 30 MPH is a trap on any main road. North Ogden is loaded with them @ 30 MPH. Yes, North Ogden uses it as a source of revenue.

The police officer likes to sit in the church parking lot and catch people going east or west.

Officers like to wait around 225 East and catch people speeding down this stretch of road. It seems like you should be able to do 35 mph here but the speed limit is 25 mph because of Orion Jr High and the narrow road.
