Main and 7th Street
Speed limit on Main street here is 30 mph. Cops have been seen hiding down 7th Street near B street near the old church, hoping to catch people speeding on Main Street. You don’t even know they are there until they have pulled around the corner and come after you.
3rd Street and H Street
It is a long straight road posted at 45mph. Police hide behind trees and wait for oncoming cars.
On Third Street Between Main St. and Old Julian Hwy.
Highway Patrol sits nestled inbetween large eucalytus trees on the edge of the Southbound lane on Third Street between Main Street and Old Julian Hwy.
Wildcat Canyon Road near top of hill
At the top of Wildcat Canyon road, heading North bound (towards Barona Resort and Casino). at the point where the passing lane is about to end. They know people are trying to pass and accelerate and tend to go above the speed limit (50mph).
Old Julian Hwy Road near Swan Road
One to Five CHP Motor Officers. They sit in a cut bank off the side of Old Julian Road on Swan Road so you cannot see there bikes and catch people who speed on this first east bound straightaway after turning left to stay on Old Julian. Some on Bikes think it is OK to speed there and the locals call and complain about the bikes doing 100+ on this side route.
