Motorcylce or black and white hiding on private road or on Crestridge next to autoshop waiting for cars who do not COMPLETELY stop at corner. Even if you slow down and ALMOST stop they will issue ticket. Happens around noon time when there is no traffic. He stops almost every car that comes through.

Beware of Deputy with the new move over law in California beware ! He will park along the shoulder of the road and stand near the trunk of his cruiser. The move over law states if there is an emergency vehicle parked on the right shoulder with multiple lanes .. a vehicle must slow down to 20 mph or move over to the next lane away from the emergency vehicle while passing….
He likes to park in the turnout at Portugese Bend and get speeders rounding the blind curve…

Across from Wayfarers Chapel hidden around Portuguese Bend section a LA County Sheriff sits almost every morning at 6:30am. I see him on my way to and from Palos Verdes High School and always someone has been stopped.
Rancho Palos Verdes City Council needs to think seriously about imposing an additional tax on it’s residents in the form of traffic tickets.
Citizens of PV do not like the surveillance.
Vote NO for Red light cameras.

Indian Valley Road and Hawthorne Blvd

Officer Friendly as he is well know, sits at the bottom of Indian Valley close to Hawthorne on the west bound side with his radar on waiting for folks to hit a very steep incline and break the 25 mph limit since its residential. In addition, he also sits on the east bound side closer to Armaga Springs road waiting for folks to also break the 25 mph limit as well.

East Palos Verdes Drive

Local sheriffs patrol car parked on the south side of the drive pointing K-band radar gun at both direction of traffic coming from and going to the Marymount College. This is a half mile of straight road. Please do not speed.
