Highway 85, just about 4-5 milesacross stateline in Florida   Florala, Alabama

The local police officer usually is in an unmarked car (usually a souped up Mustang) setting on the shoulder. It looks like you are going through the country on a normally 55-60 mile per hour speed limit. If pulled over you will be informed that you are within the city or township limits and the speed limit is 45 miles per hour. I have never seen the 45 mile per hour speed limit posted. Word of advice...Do NOT tell him you found a speed trap...He tends to get very defensive and confrontational.

Speed limit changes abruptly from 45 to 35. They are there, hidden down a side street.

331 just going north thru town, near the mortuary.   Florala, Alabama

Speed limit changes quickly from 45 to 35. I had two police cars make a u-turn in middle of roadway at 7 am to ticket me going as I was going 45.

Officers patrol from airport thru town hitting out of travlers going to beachs and there is a 4 way stop in town that they like to watch also
