US Highway 460 near State Line Road
Coming into the state of Virginia on Route 460 from the West Virginia side. Speed limit in WV is 65 mph going down hill and drops to 45 or 50 at the state line. Ride your brakes hard and wear them out, they will get you. They like sitting in the Exxon parking lot and just over the bridge near the camping area. If your leaving Va they like to sit at the gas station just over the bridge going over New River. Good luck driving
State Route 460
Traveling east or west through this Town is a bad one. The local police department sits and waits on you comming into the 45 mph zone about 50 feet after the sign. I got a ticket for 63 mph in the 45 but when I went to court the local told the judge that he thought a train’s speed was added to mine. My case was dismissed. Guess he found out I ain’t making free contributions to his town. But you better watch for the State Police they are there on a regular basis.

Immediately after the "Reduced Speed Ahead" sign, city police will be between you and a "45 mph" speed limit sign with no room to slow down.
