St. Florine   Florence, Alabama

All roads entering and leaving the small community of St. Florine, Alabama, 4 miles North of Florence Alabama. When entering the city limits posted signs quickly go from 55 mph to 35 mph. Police are on radar daily. In front of River Hill school it quickly goes from 35 mph to 25 mph. That is also continuously monitored. I was ticked $161.00 for not dimming my lights within a few seconds (could not fine the dimmer-wife's car). If you are stopped you will get a ticket- Stay out of St. Florine, take another route. -I do, and do not shop there any longer.

Helton Drive & Bradshaw Drive thru Industrial Park   Florence, Alabama

This speed trap is frequently monitored by motorcycle as well as hidden cars. They usually are hidden on both sides of Cox' Creek Parkway on Helton Drive early in the morning from 7-am - 9am. They are usually present during school months and holidays.

Florence Blvd. Across from the Four Lane Shopping Center   Florence, Alabama

At least once a week there's a cruiser sitting in the parking lot of an out of business gas station across from the Four Lane Shopping Center just far enough back to be blocked by the overgrowth.

Pine Street near Wood Avenue   Florence, Alabama

Every morning (Mon through Friday) be aware of Florence City Motorcycle Cops on Pine Street giving out tickets for those who speed through the University of North Alabama. There are usually about ten of them going up and down the street. Go one mile over the speed limit and you will get a ticket

County Trunk 2   Florence, Alabama

First 15 miles of Gunwaleford Road (Co Rd 2) west from Highway 20 to Sunset Beach. State Troopers target Mississippi and Tennessee drivers trying to get to and from work in Florence. Speed limit is 45 mph on very staight road with no businesses and limited drive way connections.
