Sydnorsville, Virginia Speed Traps

This trap is just north of the intersection of Goose Dam Road on the north bound lanes of 220 just past the Pit Stop Store. As you start down a long curving slight grade the state police hide along the guard rail. This spot has been used since 220 was 4 laned in that area in the 1960’s. All the locals are aware of it but passing thru motorists are at risk. Recently, they have begun to hide in a crossover just beyond this site.
