The efficient town police force is once again hiding behind trees near East Street & Creek Crossing Rd with radar guns trying to catch somebody speeding as they descind the hill.
Old Courthouse Road @ Westbriar Court
For the past 2 weeks, I have observed the ever efficient Vienna PD set radar up on this stretch of Old Courthouse Road during morning rush hour thru 11:30 AM. Then they grab a bite to eat and spend the rest of the day hanging out @ CC Garage on Dominion Road.
Old Couthouse Road from Pine Valley Drive to Irvin Street
The ever so sneaky Vienna Police will hide behind trees, parked cars, or whatever else is available to catch motorists on a fairly wide roadway possibly going faster than the posted 25 MPH. If you honk your horn at them you might get a 1 finger salute
Interstate 267 W between Rte. 7 and Trap Rd.
Going West on 267 after the main toll plaza, just before Wolf Trap Exit, police frequently sit on right shoulder. Road bears slightly right just before exit for Wolf Trap Farm Park. Police radar car on right shoulder is hidden by sound barrier wall where road bears right and widens for exit lane.
Beulah Road and Cynthia Ct
Police on motorcycles park on Cynthia at the intersection of Cynthia and Beulah and always catch several people speeding down Beulah. Going 25 is a wise idea here to (between Wolf Trap Elementary and Glyndon Park) to avoid this particular speed trap.
