Argonaut Av. betw. Midas and Whitney   Rocklin, California

Limit is 25. Cops sit along this street, cross streets, cul de sacs, and hide behind cars and trucks. This week I saw one sitting right behind a "Your speed is XX MPH" electronic sign. Sure as heck, he went after a car which went ripping by - at 27 or so. If you are going 26+ you will be stopped! Moneymaker . . .

Southbound Rocklin Road at Hwy 80.   Rocklin, California

If you're heading Eastbound on Hwy 80, and exit on Rocklin Road southbound, there is an ARCO gas station immediately to your right. If you are not familiar with this area, there is no posted speed limit until about 3/4 of a mile further down the road. After passing the first stoplight (Aguilar), there is a motorcycle policeman who tucks his bike up on an incline on private property about 50 yards past the light. The incline is covered heavily with bushes and trees, making it virtually impossible to see the officer. Sometimes there is one, sometimes there are two. Neither are using radar or lidar. It's a "site" speeding ticket; and like other cities, Rocklin needs the revenue. You have been forewarned.
