Swamp Road   Cornwall, Vermont

Driving West from the covered bridge is a nearly 1 mile, dead straight, newly paved road through the swamp. It is very hard not to travel at a very safe 50 on such a clear road. The Sheriff's car waits at the top of the hill as you come out of this rifle muzzle. It is vaguely posted at 35 at the beginning of this straightaway, then a painted over sign then nothing until the blue lights come on top of the white car. A real money maker for the county.

State Highway 30 near Town Hall/Old Country Store   Cornwall, Vermont

Trooper/Sheriff will sit at either the Town Hall or the Country Store, nailing people coming in the 40/School Zone (dispite the school being 500 feet from the road) when people are coming down the hill or off a nice flat straightaway. They are not patrolling around 2-3AM, because there's always a car goin 100+ past our house.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
