Oakland Station Rd at Cary Rd

Georgia, VermontJul 25, 20130 Comments

The Franklin Co. Sheriff especially loves this spot. They will back up toward the trees and if you are heading southbound on Oakland Station Rd (40 mph limit) you will never see him. This is an easy road to overdo it on because it’s relatively straight and runs parallel to the freeway…but it’s the quickest way to exit 18 on I-89 and to Fairfax.

State Route 104A near State Route 7

Georgia, VermontSep 12, 20050 Comments

Approx. 1 mile from the end of Rte 104A at Rte 7 is a driveway at the business park on the right side. The state and local police tend to hide in the shadows of that driveway to nab drivers. There are trees and a fence and the police will sit back a bit at an angle facing outward to facilitate a quick chase. The limit has dropped from 50 to 40, rather prematurely, so most cars are traveling at 50+ which is still safe.
