Going up or down the hill there is only one drive way and three lanes of traffic between lights with a posted speed limit of 25 MPH. you have to ride the breaks hard to keep from getting ticket going down the hill. Don’t try to use the passing lane going up the hill, what could you pass at 25 MPH any way, maybe a parked car. Its a set up stay clear.

This is a great income source fot the City of Newport. There is a hill near a "T" intersection where the officer sets up. They catch people coming down the moderately steep grade traveling faster than 35 MPH. The speed at the top is 50 MPH. I beat my ticket because the officer lied under oath. However it cost me $150.00 and three days loss of work to stand my ground.
