Interstate 80 near Interstate 5 and BUS 80   Sacramento, California

I-80 between BUS-80 split and I-5. I've noticed it patrolled by aircraft often during PM rush hour. AM CHP often sit on El Camino on ramp and near 5 to 80 West on ramp. Watch for unmarked cars.

Fair Oaks Boulevard near Garfield Avenue   Sacramento, California

Heading toward downtown on fair Oaks BLV there are many spots where the cops are waiting. Look out they hide down Garfield just enough so you cant see them till its too late. Further down towards Raley's they often hold traps there. The speed is posted 40 but it seems easy to go 45-50+. My friend got busted going 5 more than the limit. The cop said it was due to the "winding nature of the road" the road seems more curvature to me. It only has slight bends. mostly there during the AM and PM rush hours but have been there at any time.

Interstate 5 Sbound near Sutterville Road   Sacramento, California

Cop sits on the Sutterville Bridge overpass watching Southbound traffic on I-5. The bridge is just after a curve so its hard to see the cop. Usually is there during afternoon rush hour though I have seen a cop during morning rush hour occasionally.

Eastern Way near Fair Oaks Boulevard   Sacramento, California

From Fair oaks BLVD heading North onto Eastern Way, beware of CHP bike cop sitting in the shadows. He is ALWAYS there. Speed limit is 40, yes, 40! Do not go 45! He'll pull you over and issue a ticket. I've seen this cop during many times of the day. I make this trip 5 times out of the week. Also beware of his position, it is right before the SCHOOL zone on the right if you are heading north bound towards Arden way. If you are heading south from arden, to fair oaks, he'll be on your left, under a tree just past the school. be careful, and good luck!

Fulton Avenue near Munroe St to Arden Way   Sacramento, California

There is a CHP team that patrols Fulton Avenue heavily from Munroe Street to Arden Way. This is a posted 35 mph zone and these two will stop you for anything over that. I see them on stops out there EVERY NIGHT. There are a few bars in the area and I think they use speeding as an excuse to stop DUI's (They got me at 50 and took me to jail!)
