Hw 11 North around golf course area.   Fort Payne, Alabama

Speed limit 55 mph. Received the only ticket in 45 years of driving. Met cop, I was end line of 4 cars, cop claimed I was going 67mph which is their standard figure of speed where ever you are stopped. Probably doing less than the speed limit for I had family and grand children in vehicle. Will never have respect for city of Fort Payne or their judicial system. Speed trap for revenue is the only fair name of this game.

I-59 Corridor   Fort Payne, Alabama

Heavy patrolling and harassment of out-of-state drivers. My 75-year old father was stopped when he wasn't speeding and forced to unload his trunk because the officer accused him of drug-running.

Hwy 35 west of Fort Payne coming down Sand Mountain   Fort Payne, Alabama

A construction zone on Sunday with no workers. The speed is 55. Then it drops to 35. But there are no workers and I personally think that if there are no workers the speed should not be enforceed. but they will stop you and give you a ticket.. 188.50 Drive safely

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
