State Rt 9 by the Town Office   Woodford, Vermont

Westbound on Route 9 heading into Woodford, red and White Bennington County Sheriff car is sitting on the right side of the road in front of some double wides. The speed limit drops down from 50 to 40 as you come down the hill and get into Woodford, but the signs are almost impossible to see at night. Senior Deputy Niles will ask you how fast you were going. Say 40 MPH, because you knew he was sitting there!

State Route 9   Woodford, Vermont

Heading East on Rte. 9 just after the village of Woodford, a Woodford Town Police car is situated on a dirt road on the left side just after the Town Office. The speed limit is 30 and about 50 yards past the road it increases to 55. Be careful heading West into the village coming down the mountain at 55 where the speed drops right at that spot.
