I-5 northbound 1/4 mile after Snohomish river bridge

Marysville, WashingtonAug 08, 20220 Comments

The northbound I-5 has a 4 mile stretch from Everett to Marysville with 3 lanes with frequent poor lane discipline. Left and middle lane hogging, leaving large gaps of unused lanes despite need to carry very large traffic volumes. Inconsiderate and shame. Beware if left lane hog finally decides to go to middle lane some 50 yards after the crest of the Snohomish river bridge, because it could be 2 motorcycles camping in the left side breakdown lane, hugging the concrete divider median. Depending on the size of hogging car in front, it could block the view up to 1/2 mile ahead when it matters the most. Nasty surprise when motorcycles are revealed into full view head on, just when you are getting ready to pass the slower vehicle after patiently waiting behind it. Observed 9:30 am weekdays when it is sunny weather.

City police like to either park their cars in the Sikh Temple Driveway or stand on the sidewalk in front of the Temple holding the radar gun…nailing people as they come into that little stretch crossing Allen Creek.

Ceder and 4th

Marysville, WashingtonSep 13, 20110 Comments

Dont know if this happens evert day but on monday (day I took off work) 5 Marysville patrol cars were parked at the 76 gas station across from train tracks. What they were doing was setting off the train track lights and gates and waiting for people to speed through in the west bound lanes on 4th. In my eyes doing this in the morning when some people are in a hurry trying to get to work possed a risk of car accident or someone getting hurt. Give me a break.

84th Street Just West of Highway 9 by the New High School

Marysville, WashingtonApr 11, 20100 Comments

A construction zone was set up in front of the new High School and the speed limit was changed from 35 to 25mph. No construction has been done to the road here in months but a trap was set up in a driveway on the right side of the road before the hill as you are heading West. There is usually a motorcycle patrolman and a car here because of the number of people being pulled over. This is one of the most profitable locations for ticketing.
