Motor tucked in along wall at 7-11 parking lot or even sidewalk of Albertson's supermarket, just west of Western to Target. Commuters traveling east toward Western. Sometimes just one or two, once in a while over 10, spread out all the way west to Anchovy and/or RPV/San Pedro city line.

This speed trap must be shut down. I have received over $1,000 in bogus tickets on this road. According to Caltrans' own speed zone survey, 85% of the drivers are travelling 60+mph. So guess what happens when some cop and Caltrans force drivers to go 20mph slower than 85% of the others? They become victims of road rage, tailgaters, and other hazards that arise from drivers going 45mph. Call Bonnie Lowenthal (562) 570-6919 and tell her to get rid of this trap or she will lose your vote. Call Yunus Ghasi at Caltrans (213) 897-0560 and tell him he is out of touch with the technology of todays autos. The speed limit must be raised now.

LAPD Motor Officer generally will hide across the street from 7-11, next to the bushes and radar those entering San Pedro from the PV area as they approach Western Ave.
Cop is on the Right(ocean) side of the roadway
