Portland road at Highland

Cedarburg, WisconsinApr 17, 20100 Comments

Beware Beware, the unmarked Sargeant SUV runs hidden radar off the road by the railroad tracks on Portland and will get you as you try to reach that 45MPH zone as you are still in a 25!! CAUTION ANYWHERE on Portland road in this city, a very trappy stretch! Others park in the Park driveway just west of Hilbert on Portland.

Pioneer Drive near Cedarburg Rd./Washingtion Ave.

Cedarburg, WisconsinSep 05, 20070 Comments

Pretty much any time of day anywhere in Cedarburg police are looking for speeders. There are about four spots on Pioneer Dr that they sit regularly–the medical clinic lot just west Washington Ave on the south side of the road, a trucking drive-way east of Washington Ave on the north side of the street, a large parking lot on the north side of the road just past Hamilton Ave, and north of Pioneer Dr on GreenBay Rd (there they are also watching for rolling stops at the 4 way stop sign). I have seen numerous people pulled over all along Pioneer Dr anywhere between Hwy 181 (76th Street) and I 43.

Covered Bridge Road near Park entrance

Cedarburg, WisconsinJul 05, 20040 Comments

Often a police squad car will be parked in either of two entrances to Covered Bridge Park. Covered Bridge Road itself is a scenic country road with several curves and hills. Police love to radar cars approaching the bridge from either direction.

Western Road near Juniper Lane

Cedarburg, WisconsinJun 17, 20040 Comments

All along Western you’ll find cops staking out the highschool around 1 PM to about 4 PM. Don’t speed on Western or do burnouts, powerstands, etc. coming out of Juniper and turning on to Western.

Hamilton Rd. and Landmark Estates or Immanuel Cemetary

Cedarburg, WisconsinMay 01, 20010 Comments

Blind hill so they can catch the morning and afternoon travelers. Ride the brake if you’re going down the hill – it’s the only way to go 25 mph.
