Coloma officers will blend in with the cars in the car lot in town, running radar on vehicles coming into town on Hwy 21.
State Highway 39,51 near State Route old 21
Highwas open until underpass where posting of 25 mph is shown. Town police sit at empty lot 1/4 mile up the road on the right with radar aimed down at the underpass. Be careful, no leniency just because you’re not from that area. The underpass blocks the scene of the town and its open road before you go under and then you’re already on radar.
Interstate 39 near State Highway 21
The sheriff’s office, police department and state patrol all sit in this area and write tickets constantly. (A trucking enforcement scale is located just north of Wautoma.) You can find their cars parked in the median strip, at the truck scale, on on-ramps and even parked on the highway 21 bridge which crosses over I-39. This is definitely an area to be cautious of.
