Town cop sits hidden on end of gravel drive on north side of road — unseen by traffic heading east, and hidden by curve in road from traffic heading west.

Location is a favorite late at night because it allows dual purpose of obtaining easy citation revenues from people going slightly over the low posted speed, AND for identifying DWI drivers due to the proximity to several area bars.

On Hwy 20 between I-43 and Townline Rd.

The speed trap is for eastbound or westbound travelers on Hwy 20 going through the village of East Troy. The speed limit changes from 45 to 35 to 30 from the east and from 55 to 45 to 30 from the west. The police sit on side streets or are tucked up on the side of the road. They like to catch you in the 30/35 mph zones! You generally cannot see them until you are passing them.

Going northbound on I43, at the east end of the Hwy 120 bridge, right side of road as you drive, they sit tucked in at the end of the bridge and shoot radar at the cars coming over. The bridge and the slight incline before the bridge, makes the car hard to see until the last second.
