Racine County Sheriff Deputies will follow suspected speeders through town southbound. The speed limit increases to 55 mph approximately 1.3 miles north of the county line. However, the deputy will follow you into Kenosha County if you speed up, and stop you for speeding in town. Do not increase speed until after you cross the county line, even though the posted limit is 55.
