Mishicot, Wisconsin Speed Traps

Any where in mishicot is a speed trap when there is an officer on duty, the police in this town are corrupted into believing they are god, and will use undue force and procedure (making you leave your car, searching your car, asking questions with no pertanition to the original offense…etc.) the speed limit is 25 mph in a town of less than 1,000 and the school is way off the highway… if you want to avoid this own, exit just north or just south of the exit for it, and do not go near the town if at all possible, i have seen many people pulled over and being questioned outside of their car, and find out later that it is only for 2 or 3 over. AVOID THIS TOWN!

Mishicot is a bad business generally. You can get a speeding ticket going north or south on 147 on the south end of town, and you can get a ticket even if you are not speeding, the cop will just claim you were in a slower zone. The rapid change in speed zones makes this fairly easy to do. Also, the posted speed on Samz Road is slower than would be expected given the light housing pattern. Do not trust your intuition, watch for the speed signs and slow down in advance, if possible.

Village Police have Radar set up at all times day or night through out the village. One the corner of Church St and State Hwy 147 coming onto town its downhill and speed changes from 45 to 25. He sits accross from Holy Cross Church, and Right where the Limits changes just below the crest of the hill. Coming into town from Two Rivers. On Co Hwy B coming from Manitowoc the speed changes from 55 to 35 mph The village Squad sits all along from Samz Rd , by the Condo’s by Fox Hill Resort, By the restaurant, by the Car wash, or just below the hill on Riverveiw Ln just before the bridge. Coming from the west into town on 147 he sits near the Vets Club.
