Highway 41

Oshkosh, WisconsinDec 20, 20110 Comments

Sheriffs and State patrol cover this area very well due to the road construction. I always see Sheriffs and Troopers in the Medians on the bridge and people pulled over northbound between Oshkosh and Neenah. They are enforcing the law and should because of the construction and all the workers out working on the highway. It is a 55 and you will get stopped if you are going 10 or more over. The fines double as well since it is a construction zone. For awhile, every single time I drove thru, there was someone pulled over, every single time. Just doing their job.

Officer sits on Arboretum Drive watching Algoma Boulevard. The speed limit is 25 but since it is four lanes many people assume the limit is higher.

A cop stands on the bridge with a radar gun pointing it at the cars while a sqad car sits at the bottom of the bridge, usually in the strip Mall with Apple Bagels in it, waiting for the signal from the walking cop on what car to pull over.

State Highway 45 near State Highway 41

Oshkosh, WisconsinOct 16, 20070 Comments

Covers four lane stretch of Hwy 45 north of Oshkosh from Hwy 41 to the end of the a mile past the Winneconne exit where the four lane ends and new road construction is going on. There are several spots where squad cars might be including hiding behind bridge abuttments and parked in the median strip. They are there at all hours and sometimes use two man crews where there are spotters on the overpasses calling ahead to the squad car. The posted limit is 55 mph until improvements are finished. Please be careful and watch your speed.
