Anywhere on this road. They did increase the Speed Limit to 45, but I have got two tickets just on this road.
State Highway US 50 near Greenstone Road
A Highway Patrol car will sit one the onramp from Greenstone Road to Eastbound Highway 50 Or on Highway 50 itself right around the bend. Seen several cars pulled over, and the squad car waiting, but never been pulled over myself.
US Highway 50 near Shingle Springs Drive
CHP runs this little sting most often on Sunday mornings. The air trap is set usually between the Ponderosa Rd. and Greenstone exits. Typically, there are at LEAST 3 ground units ; they actually have a team that travels with the plane. Additionally, they will enlist the help of a couple local Chippies too. Both directions are fair game for these guys. Keep your eye on the sky!
