Lander, Wyoming Speed Traps

Driving in Lander for 20 years or so, most speed traps are on main street itself. Two common hiding places I always see people get stopped at:

Far corners of a grocery store on the 700 block. There are a couple delivery vans belonging to the store parked here, and police cruisers blend in really well.

Parking lot of a video rental place on the 600 block. There’s a high white fence here, and it’s impossible to see a car parked there if you’re approaching from the south, the other direction either, if they are parked back far enough.

The hardware store on the 400 block has a large open lot a bit to their north, sometimes you see two cruisers parked here, side by side, one facing main st. and one facing lincoln. Again, these are far removed from the road enough to be almost invisible until you’re right in front of it.
