Yep, a speed trap. City police park by football bleachers to catch speeders in the morning on their way to work on the Marine Base.

29 Palms Hwy & Adobe Rd   Twentynine Palms, California

AMBOY ROAD, On this mostly empty desert road it has been recently posted with new signs for 55 mph, local CHP uses special radar to determine speed on sight instantly, in both directions. Watch out!

Police posted at various points along Adobe Rd during AM/PM rush hours. Catchment area is Military Personal and Civilians working for the military on their way to work.
