The speed limit on this street used to be 35 mph which is not excessive for the street. The speed limit has been lowered to 25 mph. The police usually sit at the entrance to the landfill which is midway on the street.
Massasoit Ave
Right on the corner of Massasoit ave and Austin Ave. Just as you’re getting off the Henderson bridge and it immediately switches to 25mph. He parks his car on Austin ave which is hidden by a white picket fence. He walks right out into traffic and points at you to pull you over.

Coming from N. Broadway, after you pass under the railroad bridge, you come around a bend in the road, and they are usually on one of the side streets. The car is well hidden, usually far from the main road, and they stand near the telephone poles and nab you with their handheld radar. Usually in the afternoon and early evening hours.
Route 114 Nth and South/Wampanoag Trail
East Providence Police Patrol the Wampanoag Trail in unmarked and unusually inconspicuous vehicles. They have a Maroon Ford Crown Victoria, a Chevy Corvette and an older Trans AM Pontiac, all with radar.
