Riverside Drive near State Highway 170   Valley Village, California

Right below the 170 Freeway on Riverside Drive in Valley Village, CA (aka North Hollywood). Quite regularly two LAPD (2) motorcyle officers sit with their radar guns, waiting for motorists to pull over. They are there on the SW side of the street in shade under the overpass of the 170, so they can catch motorists on both sides of the street. The posted speed limit is 35mph, but well under what would be considered an appropriate and safety-acceptable speed for this area (45mph would be the better posted speed limit).
Luckily for some of us regular travellers of this Drive, we have wisened up and are trying to warn other drivers with the flashihng of our headlights (both night and day).

Just be careful around there.
