Villa Park Road near Newport Boulevard
Motorcycle cops like hanging out right across from the cemetery. They use Lidar for motorists travelling Eastbound on Villa Park Rd toward Jamboree. Sometimes he gets the Westbound traffic but it’s mostly the Eastbound. Right as you go over the hill and see the cemetery, keep your speed down-that Lidar has a long range.
Villa Park Road
Sheriff officers either on bike or on car. Road is straight and is easy to speed up. Posted limit is an artificially low 40 mph.
Taft St. near Villa Park High School
Prior to the already mentioned speed trap further down Taft in the residential area, cops like to hang around the Villa Park High school. Cops are seen under trees in a small driveway, and also at the end of parking lots adjacent to a high wall where motorists wont be able to see until it is too late. Always watch your speed around there, because it is well hidden
Taft St
The police usually like to hide out in residential streets along Taft St. Usually patrol cars, they park their cars away from sight and stand to radar unexpecting motorists. Posted speed limit is 35 mph, but it is very easy to speed at 45-50 mph.
