Vista, California Speed Traps

Two motos, 1 cruiser. Cruiser is tucked away inside the parking lot. Two motos at mouth of the parking lot exit. 1 moto shooting speed at cars.

Speed limit is 25 in this light industrial area. Most people travel 35-45mph through the intersection and continue eastbound at that speed. Motorcycle officers frequently park around the corner at Plymouth and stand in the shadows of the tree on the corner of Olive and Plymouth with radar guns. I’ve seen them pull over 4-5 cars at a time.

Motorcycle cop under the Vista Village Drive overpass, right at the curve in Hwy 78. You’re coming downhill at this point, be careful of the speed. While it’s typically going fast there anyway (average speed between 70 and 75) you don’t want to be the fastest vehicle, they will pick you off.

Photo enforced light will get you every time making right on red… my ticket was $568 because I needed a payment plan… and an extension.. I turned while it was still yellow!
