Dorchester, Ontario Speed Traps

Elgin Road crosses Hwy. 401 between Dorchester Rd. and Putnam Rd. where Hwy. 401 crosses a large valley between two steep hills. When you’re heading West and you come over the hill past the truck inspection station they’ve already got you. They’ll have the laser on the bridge and 3 -5 crusiers waiting to pull you over. Sometimes they run the speed trap on Elgin bridge to pick up Westbound cars and run another trap for eastbound cars on the Dorchester Rd. bridge so they can loop the cruisers from one trap to another.
