Hicksville, New York Speed Traps

An officer quite often will be seen; MILLER meet TWIN LAWNS at the end of Twin Lawns [minor bend].. on the right-hand side facing MILLER;
When on MILLER approaching TWIN LAWNS, there is shrubbery on either corner inhibiting your line of sight to the vehicle parked on TWIN LAWNS.

Between these two roads there is a stop sign that most people dont stop for. There is usually a cop waiting to the to the left waiting to pull people over. Its across the street from the middle school although not sure what block that is but its the second (or only) stop sign coming from OCR to Jeruselum Avenue.

This is another "School Zone" speed trap. While heading north on Jerusalem towards Old Country rd, as you approach 4th street, you enter a school zone that goes from a 40 to a 20. The cops hide out on that corner and jump out to make you turn into 4th street. They usually have several more cars pulled over at that point. P.S.—Dont forget the Red Light camera at Old Country road. It would be a shame to get a seeding ticket and then one block away get a red light ticket mailed to you. Drive safe.
