Genoa, Nevada Speed Traps

This section of road from Target at US 395 to Intersect with SR 206 at Genoa has 7 or 8 speeds (depending on time of day) in 9 miles, It is is designed to be a cherry patch for sheriffs and NHP.
It goes 25-35-15-45-35-45-35-25. It is actively policed (hiding in drive ways, side streets) at least 4-5 times per day, sometimes more, with drives through, approx every hour 6AM-6PM.

Cops hang out along the road on the way into Genoa from Jack’s Valley Road, and nab people who don’t obey the ridiculously low speed limit. They particularly do this on weekends to get the tourists. They always run radar, so if you have a detector, you’ll see them before they see you.
