U.S. Hwy. 1 South (North of Folkston, GA)   Homeland, Georgia

Speed limit drops 10 mph for nothing. Homeland is located about two miles south of the tiny sliver of U.S. Jwy. 1 in their city limits. Police hide in the Palmetto thicket and point gun north. There is no town, I repeat no town in this speed zone, you are in the woods, with a two lane paved road leading to the town. The 4 lane is divided by about 500 feet, and the north bound land must not be in the city limits, because the speed limit does not change. When you see the Homeland city limit sign, you better be doing the limit. They must do pretty good as they had a brand new cruiser. If you get a ticket, just pay the ticket. Otherwise you will go before a local judge who is most likely related to the policeman.
