East Cleveland, Ohio Speed Traps
superior rd./euclid ave. school zone
School zone with no flashing lights or other warning signs, but a camera to take the picture of your license plate going 30mph in a “20”
Noble Road/Euclid School Zone
As you approach you see a 25mph sign.. then, all of a sudden you are in a school zone (NO traditional blinking lights to alert you of the school zone). The only warning is a 20mph sign in the school zone. then bam… the camera snaps a photo. Is this EUROPE now? what a pathetic big brother presence!
Lee Road between Monticello & Terrace Road
When traveling north from Cleveland Heights, the speed limit is 35 mph. However, there is no sign indicating that you are in East Cleveland and the limit is 25 mph. Don’t be persuaded by the fact that there is a huge park on the west side of the street, which would lead you to believe that a change to 25 mph is warranted. There is a "trap-ready" cop car sitting facing north just below where the hill starts.
Eddy Rd/Hayden Ave
There is usually a camera there but sometimes late at night there is a cruiser sitting in front of the construction site instead of the camera. I got a ticket there back in January!
