West Keith Road between Forbes and Delbruck Ave

North Vancouver, British ColumbiaNov 29, 20100 Comments

There is a 30km/h schoolzone between 8.00am and 5.00pm. RCMP setup down the hill (westbound) typically twice a week.
Be careful, it is very easy to go over the limit on this two lane downhill road.

Highway 1 (Westbound)

North Vancouver, British ColumbiaApr 13, 20101 Comments

The RCMP Freeway Patrol loves to set up speed traps near westbound on and off ramps to Highway 1 (Westbound). The speed traps are primarily located near the Lonsdale, Westview and Lloyd Avenue highway exits. The one at Lloyd Avenue (Exit 15) is particularly sneaky and usually only in place late at night. The bottom line is: try not to go much over 80km/h between the Lynn Valley and Lloyd Avenue exits westbound. Eastbound is less heavily policed for some reason, but be careful when travelling eastbound on Highway 1, as you approach the Lonsdale Avenue exit and just a bit beyond, especially during daytime hours. The eastbound speedtrap there is often on the left shoulder, so be vigilant.
