I-84 West - Bottom of Cheshire Hill (near exit for I-691)   Cheshire, Connecticut

Cops sit at the bottom of the hill in front of the I-691 exit number sign. Near the Cheshire Industrial Park. They see you before you see them because as your coming down the hill there is a bridge going over the highway for a few side roads. They can shoot your bumper with radar/lidar and get your speed before you even see them.

Willow Street   Cheshire, Connecticut

Halfway down the road there are a bunch of greenhouses. In one of the driveways the cop sits behind some trees and bushes. You can't see any part of him because the driveway is located right where the street bends or curves enough that you cannot see around the bend/curve. So watch out if you like to speed through there. Better off taking Spring to Williams if you have the need to speed.

West Main St.(Rt 70) coming from waterbury towards cheshire!   Cheshire, Connecticut

there are a number of speed traps here because the speed limit changes like every mile almost, but im gonna just go through the ones cheshire cops sit at daily. coming from wtby toward cheshire they sit at the "park n ride" on your right. (speed limit 45). they park at the bottom of the hill about 1/2 mile from the park n ride on your ride side across from the elementry school trying to catch people coasting/speeding down the hill and its a HUGE fine because its a school zone.(speed limit 40) but here is where it gets tricky! next spots are right next to each other but between the last spot i told u and this next one the speed limit changes again to 35mph. and this road is all down hill and its S turns the whole way down. so CPD sits at the Notch on your right and at the BP gas station on your right. and they are sitting there waiting for u to come around that corner going 45+mph. and im from this area and let me tell you something, 75% of the drivers going up n down West main st are doing 45-60mph. anyways the next is at Pops Pizza on ur left. and they like to use the dark blue cuisers so u cant see them. and u wont see them because you r coming around the sharp bend and they will be hidden in the back on the left side of the road where the trees are blocking ur view of them. you wont notice them till ur looking out ur driver window to ur left and u see CPD facing u with there speed gun. well thats all the main spots on West Main st Rt 70. they do sit at other locations but those r few n far between. goodluck and drive safe. P.S. cheshire cops are top 10 in the state for seat belt checks, cell phone violations, DUI's, and last but not least speeding. so pay extra attention in cheshire.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
