There was an artical on this spot that I am writing about. It was on this web site awhile ago. If you are going past the Clinton Crossings Mall towards the I-95 South bound entrance there is a store parking lot right before you get onto the highway. Be carefull they sit right in there and the speed limit before the trap is 40 or 45 but quickly drops down to 25 and that is how they nab you. It is right across from Morgan High school and right next to the exit from the mall.
Route 81 Near Morgan High School Road near I-95 South on ramp is near this trap. Turnpike
There is a nursery on Route 81 down the road from Morgan High School. If you pass the high school going towards Killingworth about a mile down the road on the right is a turn in for the nurseries. They sit right there waiting. The speed limit is 45 but quickly drops so be carefull.
State Route 81 near Ethan Allen/Morgan High School
Coming south on route 81 towards route one, you’ll pass the Clinton Crossings outlet, and on your left will be the Morgan School, and on the right will be an on-ramp for I-95 south, and right before is an Ethan Allen. Police pull up into the parking lot or a small grassy area between the ramp and store. I’ve seen them all times of day, but mostly during dark hours, since it’s easier to hide the car from plain view going either way. Plus its a school zone, so the speed limit goes down from 40/45 to 25 and they take full advantage of that, so watch out!
Interstate 95 South near Exit Number 63
Police sit on the ramp of exit 63 going south on I 95 and use laser to hit you. THis is where you recently pass the state police stop and the road goes downhill and is very straight. The police hang out right after the bridge. Keep your car behind another car and in the left lane as they need to tag your front end. drive on the left hand yellow line and behind another car to be safe. Still dont pay the ticket if you get one as the court cuts the fine by 1/3 if you pay in your first visit which is a scheduling visit. It is best to go to court though to get the law changed, laser is a violation of our privacy rights, who knows if they use a laser microphone? . STOP THIS METHOD OF DETECTION.
