Starts at the end of the Off ramp of I-95S where there is an UNDERCOVER/UNMARKED CAR tagging cars. The rest of the Police Cars are at the “ramp” that takes you from RT 12 to 184, that’s where they’re pulling the cars over the undercover tagged!

On Brandegee Avenue watching Rainville Ave & CBS Highway

Groton, ConnecticutSep 25, 20100 Comments

At night only, so as not to be seen, police are parked on Brandegee facing North to catch speeders and people making a right-on-red where they shouldn’t. I’ve watched as speeders go by at a high rate of speed, with no action taken, as police are on the phone or otherwise occupied. If loud music with youthful drivers go south past the officer, he’ll pull them over, because of the late hour, thinking drugs or drinking.

I’m amazed at the picking and choosing of whom gets pulled over and letting speeders whiz by, especially with the amount of people whom have hit the telephone pole across the street.
