US 380 Eastbound, just east of US 289.   Prosper, Texas

The last couple weeks a Collin County Sheriff Deputy has been sitting in the median (turn lane) facing west catching people crossing under Preston. The overpass obstructs your view of his location until you've passed it, and by then he has you.

Prosper Trail, East of Coleman   Prosper, Texas

Police will use fencing/landscaping at Brittany Way for cover as drivers westbound are coming down the hill here. Road has recently been expanded from 2 lane to 4 lane divided with a crossover in the median at this spot. By the time you see them, it's already too late if you're ESL.

Dallas North Tollway (Extension)   Prosper, Texas

Frontier Parkway (F. M. 1461) to State Highway 380, the speed limit is 45 mph. This is a two lane road where police will sit back on a side street or just beyond the bridge (sitting north bound on a barricaded road by the tower) to catch drivers going south bound. This is a no passing road at all, but many will pass and be pulled over for passing as well. Just south of 380 the speed limit goes up to 55mph. This is an issue for Celina as well, from Frontier (1461) to F. M. 428. Not just local police sit and wait - Sheriff and Constables as well.

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
