Often at night, there is a speed trap located at the end of the driveway of Daniel Hand High School. View of the driveway is blocked on either side by houses and trees, and they sit far back enough so that you won’t see them. The speed limit is 35 but it drops to 25 during the school day.

Location of Radar: Friends & Company Restaurant parking lot. Impossible to see when vehicles are heading east to Madison center.
Also, same area: Balladino’s Deli parking lot, further up (near Wildwood Avenue); Almost any decently sized driveway on Route 1 including the carpet shop opposite Friends.

You will find a cruiser sitting in the entrance of the driveway to Brown School. The speed limit of 50 drops to 25 when school is in session.

If you are traveling on Duck Hole north passed the Town Campus and Police station area, the speed limit drops around Kelsey Springs area from 45 MPH to 35MPH. Often after dark there will be a a police car parked on the left where the farm stand is in the summer. ber sure to slow down immediately as soon as you see the 35 MPH sign or he will be waiting directly afterwards!
