Alii Drive is 30mph until town where it drops tp 15mph.The police sit with a lazer and pull over anyone passing the 15mph sign. They will have five or six officers to write tickets while one stands out and flags cars to pull over.

The speed limit is an overly slow 35 thru town, and after the light at Makalapua they unnecessarily keep it signed as 35 for about a half mile, until they bump it slightly to 45 til the new road ends at the Harbor. The limits are all set very low on this limited access highway, and the police department continually harvests a lot of our money through here. This is a huge speedtrap. Be very careful. One of our older county councilmen got stopped here and the police forcefully roughed him up when he was stopped because he questioned the motives of the police.
