State Highway 52   Kinston, Alabama

Small town, less than 650 population, no stop signs or red lights through town, but over a mile of 35 MPH speed limit. Local radar car (Kinston Police) plus State Trooper patrols. Only place I have found between FL beaches and Birmingham that speed limit is less than 45 for same road conditions.

State Highway 52 near County Trunk 189   Kinston, Alabama

This is a small town (less than 700 population)that does not have a red light, stop sign, and no major intersection, just a caution light and a slight curve. However, there is over a mile of 35 MPH speed limit, (should be 45) and town has full-time radar car plus state trooper patrol. Popular route from Central Alabama to Florida beaches, but all other similar locations have 45 or 55 MPH limit. Speeding fine is $161, but approximately $35 less in adjoining counties which are just two miles in either direction. Get the picture?

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
