Cops have no leeeway in stopping anyone going over the various speed limits that vary from 25 to 55 mph. A short section of 68 outside the city limits between two sections of the city (55 mph there) is not off-limits for them. They will stop you there too. West Liberty is notorious for this speed trap area.
