I-95 NB at Exit 5

Riverside, ConnecticutSep 05, 20170 Comments

Sometimes on top of the berm at the Exit 5 ramp, State Police drive their car up to the top of it and monitor traffic. This is a posted 55 and you will usually get to 80-85, only as long as you are not noticeable (not weaving in and out of traffic/driving aggressively) while doing so. That said, it definitely is a discreet hiding place so you should be aware that they do sit there because they will almost definitely see you before you see them.

Interstate 95 near Exit Number 5 Northbound

Riverside, ConnecticutJul 27, 20061 Comments

Police sit on top of the Northbound Dirt Imbankment (about 30 feet in the air) during various hours of the day. Drivers cannot see the car until it is too late, as he is blocked from view due to an overpass.
