Delaware City, Delaware Speed Traps

Police are waiting at the end of Cox Neck road coming from Delaware City where the road intersects RT 13, the speed reduces from 50 MPH to 35 MPH at St Georges Crossing neighborhood and the guys are waiting on the left and right at the end of the road. Slow down they will pull you over!

Unmarked navy Blue Dodge Magnum usually parked on side of the road (RT 9) between base of old canal bridge and Clinton st.

Sit at the bottom of the bridge on either side (north or south bound). So if you are going north on the bridge the Delaware City police sit on the curve at the bottom of the south side with radar on. This town is notorious for Radar!

They could be anywhere from the creek at the entrance of town, to the draw bridge exiting town. If you are not from Delaware , You better look out! My advice, Do the speed limit through this town. The stretch of road isin’t much more than a mile. Enforcement is heaviest Friday to Sunday. (beach traffic)
