As you drive pass the on-ramp to Kamehameha Highway, there’s an overpass with signs directing you into Waipahu. Slow down, as Mr.Lawman in his black mustang is hugging the wall near the right lane. He uses a LAZER, so your expensive radar detectors won’t work. Note that he profiles “fast looking” cars. I was in the left lane, hiding behind a truck who was going the same speed I was in the right lane. Next thing you know, he stops all lanes, looks around at all the cars, comes all the way over to my car in the left lane and pulls me over, letting the obviously speeding truck go.

Forget the speed trap. My husband was walking across the street (no traffic -and it is a small two-way street) and received a $130 fine for jaywalking. The police officer was hiding on his motorcycle in the area!
