On the new Bellair beach causway bridge   Bellair Beach, Florida

State troopers will hide in the in the cutoffs at both ends of the bridge, especially after dark. Posted speed is 30 mph but since the bridge is very high it's very easy to speed on the downward side. Keep it below 30 and you're safe.

West Bay Drive near Gulf Boulevard   Bellair Beach, Florida

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is constantly parked on the Bellair Causeway with radar. The speed limit is currently 30MPH and the bridge is a construction zone. Be aware that deputies are using intimidation tactics such as tailgating drivers to force them to speed up or become nervous and swerve in effort to issue tickets._
