St. Gabriel Police at intersection writing tickets for going around left turning vehicle. Got ticket 32/76 which is passing on left for passing to the right of left turning vehicle.

St. Gabriel PD patrols 30 from 3115 to close by the University Club. The posted speed is 55 but it is very wide open and feels like it should be 65 or 70. They also stand in the middle of the roadway frequently between 5PM and 7 PM on weekdays checking for seat belts and inspection stickers. Also watch for state police and parish sherrif deputies as well, they like this road also.
