Coconut Creek, Florida Speed Traps
Winston Park Blvd. between St. Rd. 7 & Lyons Rd
Posted speed limit is 35 MPH. Motorcycle cop varies his location. He’s set up for both east and westbound cars at varying times. Be especially aware during the morning rush hour when he sets up eastbound on a side street just before you come to the lake on your left. . Later in the day he sets up westbound just after a turn past the lake nearing State Rd 7. By the time you see him – he’s got you.
Wiles Road and SR 7
i have seen cop on a motor cycle hiding behind the big trees on north-west corner of Wiles and SR 7. They are specially present in the morning during office hours
Wiles Road and Turnpike Overpass East and West
Now that the Wiles Road overpass for the Turnpike is there I’ve experienced a lot of cops sitting here… 3 Mainly. 1 is a BSO I assume since he has an Undercover 2009 Mustang GT he’ll shoot radar on the west side of the overpass at oncoming east traffic going over the bridge so be careful when heading over it. The other is a coconut creek in the same spot, then the other is just BSO Deerfield on the opposite side shooting it at oncoming east traffic. So it’s pretty much watch out for cops when going over the bridge, The other day I was doing 65-75 mph over the bridge with another car then my radar jumped to Ka 5 so I hit my brakes and the other car kept going, got pulled over and so on. The Undercover Mustang GT sits on both sides of the bridge west and east and shoots mostly at people going over the bridge, but I think he has a radar in the rear windsheild because he gets people in all directions. Cops sit there mostly at night, Sometimes in the morning, close to afternoon..
Banks Rd btwn Coconut Crk Pkwy & Atlantic Blvd
I am surprised that nobody has mentioned this one. Coconut Creek police station themselves literally in my driveway! Banks Road has a 30 mph speed limit and people routinely do at least 50. Actually, I am glad that this is a speed trap. I have commented many times that they should have speed bumps to deter speeders.
Coconut Creek Parkway immediately West of the Turnpike.
This is a nice wide blvd with a very low speed limit.
